‘Calvary’ by Sarah Misselbrook

As part of the first Riu d’Art project in Riba-roja d’Ebre, Catalonia, Spain. Misselbrook’s successful proposal for a site-specific sculptural installation in the ‘Laundry Room’ (the old public laundry space) is now permanently installed in the village.

This is the first year of the “art in public spaces” project organized by the local council and the Riba Rocks team. Work collaboratively to increase accessibility to contemporary art and simultaneously regenerate ruined and disused spaces.

The second project of Riu d’Art will take place this summer and will welcome emerging international and local artists in the beautiful village of Riba-roja d’Ebre.
