‘Jardí de llaços translúcids’ – ‘Garden of Translucent Ties’
L’obra explora la bellesa de l’ordinari i la seva subtil interconnexió entre les persones, la natura i el lloc. Durant la meva estada a Riba-roja d’Ebre vaig visitar setmanalment el mercat ambulant de fruita i verdura, i vull reflectir i captar tant el meu propi recorregut en aquesta tradició local com el de la comunitat. Per això he utilitzat una varietat d’enquadraments i fines làmines translúcides de fruita, convidant l’espectador a observar-ne les estructures internes —llavors, venes i textures— que actuen com a metàfores visuals d’arrels compartides i creixement.
The work explores the beauty found in the ordinary and it’s subtle interconnectedness between people, nature, and place. Having visited the travelling fruit and vegetable market each week during my stay in Riba-roja d’Ebre. I want to reflect and capture my personal journey to this local tradition along with the communities. So, I used a variety of frames and translucent slices of fruit, to invite viewers to see the intricate internal structures, their seeds, veins, and textures, to serve as visual metaphors for shared roots and growth.
